Welcome to Electrify Yarra. We’re an independent, community group based in the City of Yarra.

We’re inspiring everyone in Yarra to save money by switching from fossil fuels to super efficient appliances using the lowest cost energy - electricity from solar and other renewables.

The best way to run your home - for your wallet and for the climate, is to be all electric. Electrification refers to the shift from fossil fuel-based systems to electric-powered ones.

We want to help you and your neighbours experience the benefits of electrification.

Household consumption contributes to 72% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

A few changes to your household can significantly lower carbon emissions and lead to substantial savings.

Transportation, cooking and heating homes and water provide opportunities for us to save money and reduce emissions.
