Saul Griffith in conversation - Our biggest event ever was a blast!
On October 17 we filled Richmond Town Hall with an enthusiastic crowd eager to hear Dr Saul Griffith in conversation. Kate Hook, co-convenor at Climate 200 stepped in at the last moment when Simon Holmes à Court was unable to attend.
Those who arrived early found a line snaking along Bridge Road waiting for doors to open
Saul gave us a fascinating insight into
the compelling need to electrify our homes,
how we can make electrification fairer,
perspectives on the Australian energy market - and much more.
We’re currently working on some video highlights that we can share.
We had some great conversations after the event
Our fantastic team of volunteers all worked hard to make the event a success. Our thanks to our partners at the event Electrify Moonee Valley, our friends at Yarra Energy Foundation and for funding support as part of the Community Electrification Engagement Program, delivered by Sustainability Victoria on behalf of the Victorian Government.
